The wiring harness for the starter generator may wear through and lead to an electrical short circuit. This could cause the power steering to fail or result in a cable fire, increasing the risk of an accident. The product does not comply with the requirements laid down in the Regulation on the approval and market surveillance of motor vehicles and their trailers, and of systems, components and separate technical units intended for such vehicles.
