The information on Hazard List is provided for general information only. It reproduces public notices published by the European Commission (Safety Gate, the EU rapid alert system for dangerous non-food products) the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) and the UK Office for Product Safety and Standards (OPSS, published on GOV.UK). The official notice is always the authoritative version; follow it, and the instructions of the company or authority named in it.

Hazard List is independent. It is not run by, affiliated with or endorsed by the European Commission, any EU member-state authority, the CPSC, the OPSS or any brand, marketplace or retailer. Brand and marketplace names are used only to identify the products named in official notices; an alert about one product does not mean that other products of the same brand, or the marketplace itself, are unsafe.

Notices may contain errors or be updated or withdrawn after we copy them. Not finding a product here does not mean it is safe. We make no guarantee that the data is complete, accurate or current.

Product photos

Product photos on alert pages come from the official notice they belong to: EU photos from Safety Gate (European Commission, usually supplied by the national authority that reported the product), U.S. photos from the CPSC recall notice, UK photos from the PDF report attached to the GOV.UK notice. We show them, resized, only so that readers can recognise the product concerned, and every alert page names its source and links to the official notice.

If you hold the rights to a photo shown here and do not want it used, contact us or email [email protected] with the page address. We will remove the photo, normally within a few working days.

Privacy

• We do not use cookies for visitors, and we do not use third-party analytics, advertising or tracking scripts.
• Our server counts page views per day (which page, and whether the visitor was a search-engine crawler). We do not store visitors' IP addresses in these counts.
• If you use the contact form, we store your message, the name and email address you enter, and a one-way hash of your IP address used only to block spam. We use your email only to reply to you and never share or sell it. You can ask us to delete your message at any time.
