Hazard

The power supply cable is composed of a Class II plug (without a protective earth conductor) and a Class I connector. If the power supply cable is used with a Class I electric appliance, there is no continuation of the protective earth conductor. In the event of a fault, the fault current would not be able to flow via the protective earth conductor, leading to the risk of an electric shock. The product does not comply with the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive nor with the European standard EN 60335-1.

Measures taken

  • Replacement of the power cable in the goods in stock — Importer (02/01/2025)
  • Recall of the power cable from end users — Distributor (02/01/2025)
