Hazard

The rate of nickel release is too high (measured value up to 29.8 µg/cm2/week). Nickel is a strong sensitiser and causes allergic reactions if present in articles that come into direct and prolonged contact with the skin. Additionally, the product has an excessive concentration of lead (measured value: 12.5% by weight). Lead is harmful to human health, accumulates in the body, can cause developmental neurotoxicity (only if exposure to children expected) and may affect breast-fed or unborn children. The product does not comply with the REACH Regulation.
