Hazard

The electric blanket can be connected directly to the power supply without the control unit. If used in this way, the electric blanket will overheat in the absence of a thermostat and a vulnerable person could suffer heatstroke. The product does not comply with the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive and the relevant European standard EN 60335.

The product consists of a white blanket containing the heating element and powered by a white power cord and controller.The product comes in an orange and red cardboard box with a photo of the device on the outside.
