The product poses a chemical risk because the head of the doll contains 34% by weight of di(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP) and the arms and legs contain 2,5% by weight of di(2-etylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP) and 1.3% by weight of 1di- isononyl- phthalate (DINP)According to the REACH Regulation, phthalates DEHP, DBP and BBP are prohibited in all toys and childcare articles, while phthalates DINP, DIDP and DNOP are prohibited when the toy or childcare article can be placed in the mouth by children.
