Hazard

The product poses a chemical risk because it contains 83% methyl methacrylate (MMA). In its "Health assessment of nail modelling cosmetics containing methyl metacrylate" of 22 December 2011, the Bundesinstitut für Risikobewertung (BfR, Federal Institute for Risk Assessment) considers methyl metacrylate present in concentrations of 80-90 % in nail modelling cosmetics to be harmful to health due to the high intolerance potential, which can also cause ongoing damage to nails.
