The product poses a chemical risk because the pistol contains 0.19 % by weight bis (2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP) and the front part of the darts contains 4.26 % by weight bis (2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP) and 9.46 % by weight di-butyl phthalate (DBP).In addition, the product contains 26.72 % by weight di-‘isononyl’ phthalate (DINP).According to the REACH Regulation the phthalates DEHP, DBP and BBP are prohibited in all toys and childcare articles, while phthalates DINP, DIDP and DNOP are prohibited in toys or childcare articles that can be placed in the mouth by children.
