Hazard

The product poses a risk of electric shock because:·         Live parts are accessible when the housing is open for lamp replacement. ·         The mains supply cable is insulated with PVC instead of the standard polychloroprene. Due to aging, environmental, mechanical, chemical or thermal effects, the cable insulation is not sufficiently resistant, it can be damaged and the live parts of cable can become accessible. ·         The supply cable of the lamp is not equipped with cord anchorage therefore it is not protected against pulling and twisting and the live parts of the cable ends may become accessible. The product does not comply with the Low Voltage Directive and the relevant European standard EN 60598.
