Hazard

The product poses a risk of fire because the clearance between the front seatbelt retractor and the sound insulation is too small. In a crash of sufficient severity, with deployment of the front seatbelt pre-tensioner and load-limiter it is possible in very exceptional cases that the sound insulation around the front seatbelt retractor could ignite.

Product description

US vehicles manufactured between December 2007 (series launch) and May 2010. Vehicles with a European type-approval are not affected. The US vehicles were sold to members of the US military within Europe.
