Fluid within rings may contain pseudomonas aeruginosa and pseudomonas putida which could cause illness in children. Possible symptoms that could be witnessed in young infants may include irritability, vomiting, diarrhoea, and dehydration, this will only be the case if the teether has been punctured and the sanitised water from the teether is ingested.
