Hazard

The affected bottles contain potassium hydroxide at hazardous levels that can cause the bottle to leak. Contact with the liquid could result in harm to skin and eyes, including causing skin burns or eye damage. The product does not meet the requirements of the General Product Safety Regulations 2005.

Remedy

The product product was recalled from end users in 2021. There is no current recall or safety concerns for any Ecover products. Please call 00800 0000 2655 if you’re concerned, or +44345 130 2230 if you’re in Ireland.
