987 Heat Gun — fire & burns risk

Hazard
The product presents a risk of fire because it has not been fitted with any overheat protection. The heat gun severely overheated and emitted flames when subjected to the stalled motor test. This product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016.
Remedy
Import has been destroyed at the border.

Heavy duty heat gun in red with black lead and 3 pin plug. Supplied with metal attachments in transparent plastic packaging.
