Hazard

The product presents a high risk of electric shock as the mains plug did not meet the markings and dimensional requirements of BS 1363 and was also not fitted with a fuse link which conforms to BS 1362. The equipment was not protected against producing temperatures more than limits imposed by the Standard, and there was no secondary security such as a split washer or star-washer fitted to the earth terminals to prevent from accidental loosening. The product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016.

Remedy

The product has been recalled from end users. For further information, access the Vevor recall webpage at: https://uk.vevor.com/pages/Product-Recall-Statement . The import has been rejected at the border and destroyed.
