Hazard

The product presents a risk of microbiological contamination due to the detection of Pseudomonas Aeruginosa, which can cause infections in humans. The product does not meet the requirements of Regulation (EC) 1223/2009 or the Cosmetic Products Enforcement Regulations 2013.

Remedy

Vernacare have issued a recall across their product line for all ‘in date’ products of the listed brands and models. Vernacare have also ceased production at their manufacturing site until the root cause is identified.
