Hazard

The product presents a serious risk of choking as the blue plastic battery cover detaches at a force less than 90N exposing a metal spring with a 10.55 mm cross section, in excess of the 2mm limit. Furthermore, the collar around wheels is removable, the bogey wheel cover detaches at a force of 21.3N producing small parts which fit into a small parts test cylinder. A young infant could place these parts in their mouth and choke. The product does not meet the requirements of the Toys (Safety) Regulations 2011.

Remedy

OPSS are requiring the recall of the product from end users. The listing has been removed by the online marketplace (Wish).
