Hazard

The product presents a high risk of electric shock as it’s inadequately earthed, the connections at the terminal can become loose. As the body of the product is metal the whole unit can become live presenting the risk of electric shock. The sample had not been accompanied by adequate instructions and safety information in a language easily understood by consumers and other end-users. The product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016.

Remedy

The product has been destroyed. The listing has been removed by the online marketplace (Amazon).
