The product was not supplied with the required compliance documentation or markings to demonstrate that it had been adequately conformity assessed. Mandatory third-party conformity assessment is required by the relevant Regulations for those products which protect against more serious risks, the absence of such independent assessment for such a product may increase the risk to the consumer that the product may not perform as expected when relied upon to protect them from harm in the water. Product description

A blue coloured lifejacket with the words ‘LIFE JACKET’ written down the right-hand side. Yellow coloured on the inside with two reflective pieces of material each side. A single orange whistle is on the inside as well as a blow valve. Underneath some further material are Chinese instructions and an automatic system to inflate the life jacket. English instructions and some images are located on the strap of the life jacket.
