Hazard

The product presents a serious risk of injuries as the ladder does not have any instructions or required warning symbols such as a weight limit for the product. A consumer using a power tool with a combined weight of over 150kgs may overload the ladder, causing it to buckle under the weight. This may cause the consumer to fall off the ladder and injure themselves. The product does not meet the requirements General Product Safety Regulations 2005.

Remedy

The import has been rejected at the border and product has been destroyed.
