Hazard

The product presents a chemical risk as testing concluded that it contains an excessive concentration of phthalates. Phthalates can potentially harm children’s health either via cancer or non-cancer effects and may cause the child to have long term health implications. The product also presents a risk of choking as during the tension test, the zipper puller detached and created a small part, which fit entirely within a small parts cylinder. The product does not meet the requirements of the Toys (Safety) Regulation 2011.

Remedy

OPSS is requiring the recall of the product. The listing has been removed by the online marketplace (AliExpress).
