Hazard

The product presents a high risk of injuries as the uppermost tread/platform is undersized and the base width of the ladder is too small. This means that the consumer could lose their footing, making their weight unevenly distributed so the ladder could tip over, causing injury to the user. The product was also missing some required markings and the instructions do not include the load rating, meaning that a consumer could put on more weight than the product can safely support. The product does not meet the requirements of the General Product Safety Regulations 2005.

The import has been rejected at the border. The listing has been removed by the online marketplace (Amazon).
