Hazard

The product presents a high risk of electric shock, fire and explosion as the transformer did not meet the requirements for creepage and clearance. The product also has poor internal build quality as it featured poor quality soldering with wires soldered directly to component legs. There was no thermal protection present in the battery. The product does not meet the requirements of the Supply of Machinery (Safety) Regulations 2008.

Remedy

The product has been destroyed. The listing has been removed by the online marketplace (Amazon).
