Hazard

Kinesis UK have identified that some of their Lyfe e-bikes, fitted with ‘Alhonga’ branded hydraulic brakes, may have the incorrect bolt length fitted. This presents risk of injury to the user as the bolt may come out of the fork during normal riding use. The affected bikes do not meet the requirements of the General Product Safety Regulations 2005.

Remedy

The manufacturer has launched a modification programme to address the safety risk.
