Hazard
The product presents a serious chemical risk as the box and tube were marked ‘Betamethasone Valerate BP 0.05% w/w’. Betamethasone valerate is a glucocorticoid substance and is not permitted in cosmetic products. The product also requires improvements to marking and labelling. The product does not meet the requirements of Regulation (EC) 1223/2009 or the Cosmetic Products Enforcement Regulations 2013.
