Hazard

The product has been identified as presenting a risk of burns and fire as the velvet fabric used on the upholstered panels of the bed frame fail to meet the requirements of the relevant standard, BS 5852. If the product is exposed to a naked flame, it could catch fire and continue to flame. The affected products do not meet the requirements of the Furniture and Furnishings (Fire) (Safety) Regulations 1988.

Remedy

Soho Home has launched a modification programme to address the safety risk. Affected consumers have been contacted directly to arrange an appointment for a professional technician to visit their home to treat the fabric.
