Hazard

The ladders are over 3m and do not include a stabiliser, such as a bar at the base, to widen it meaning they are unstable during use and could cause the user to fall. The products also required improvements to marking, labelling and documentation. The products do not meet the requirements of the General Product Safety Regulations 2005.

Remedy

The import has been rejected at the border.
