Hazard

The product presents a high risk of fire as the mains-power plug does not meet the dimensional requirements of the relevant standard. The plug pins may not make the correct and safe contact with the wall socket, causing the plug to overheat and ignite. The product requires improvements to marking, labelling and documentation. The product does not meet the requirements of the Plugs & Sockets etc. (Safety) Regulations 1994 or the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016.

Remedy

The import has been rejected at the border and destroyed.
