Hazard

The lamp presents a risk of fire as it has been identified that there is a reliability issue with an electronic component (rectifying diode). This could result in bulb failure which could overheat the battery and result in fire. The product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016.

Remedy

Tala has launched a modification programme. Affected customers are advised to go to The Muse Bulb Replacement Programme or contact the customer support team at [email protected] or +44 7700 170343.
