Hazard

The product presents a high risk of electric shock because the pins on the plug are too long and too close to the edge of the plug. This means when the user removes the plug from the socket, they are at risk of making contact with the pins and receiving an electric shock. The product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016 or the Plugs and Sockets etc. (Safety) Regulations 1994.

Remedy

The import has been rejected at the border and destroyed.
