Hazard

The product presents a risk of electric shock as it fails to meet applicable safety standards. The product also poses a risk of fire due to issues with the earth bonding. The product was not supplied with an instruction manual. This must be present with the product to provide the user with the required safety warnings, usage and end of life disposal information. The product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016.

Remedy

Owners are advised to stop using the product immediately. The importer has withdrawn the product from the market and instructed each retailer to recall affected products sold to end users.
