Hazard

The product presents a high risk of fire due to the lack of cord anchorage. Over time, this will fail to prevent movement of the supply cord, leading to strain being placed on the components and connections. Internal wires may detach and cause a short circuit/overheating, leading to a fire. The product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016.

Remedy

The import has been rejected at the border and destroyed.
