Hazard

The product presents a serious chemical risk as it was found to contain hydroquinone. Hydroquinone is a skin sensitiser and may cause allergic contact dermatitis. Improvements are also required to product marking and labelling. The product does not meet the requirements of Regulation (EC) 1223/2009 and the Cosmetic Products Enforcement Regulations 2013.

Remedy

Owners should stop using this product immediately. Contact the distributor you purchased from to request redress. The goods have been seized from the retail premises and are in safe storage awaiting destruction.
