Hazard

The product presents a serious risk of fire because the instructional materials incorrectly state that it is suitable for outdoor use. The supply cord cross-section is not suitable for prolonged exposure outdoors, which means it will deteriorate over time and potentially expose live wires, causing a fire. The product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016.

Remedy

The import has been rejected at the border and destroyed. The listing has been removed by the online marketplace (Amazon).
