Hazard

The socket is not marked with a Class II equipment symbol, and the earthing continuity is only present when the appliance is connected to the mains-supply. This means that if the appliance is used in standalone battery mode, the sockets are unearthed. Any appliance plugged into it could become live and give the user an electric shock. Improvements are also required to marking and labelling. The product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016.

Remedy

The import has been rejected at the border.
