Hazard

The product presents a risk of non-compliance and psychological harm as a vulnerability has been identified in the Bluetooth System-on-Chip (SoC). This vulnerability could enable individuals in close proximity to the user to take control of the device. The product does not meet the requirements of the General Product Safety Regulations 2005.

Remedy

The manufacturer is warning consumers of the risk and has contacted affected customers directly. A firmware update has been released which will patch the vulnerability on the product. Affected customers have been instructed to use their app to update the product with this firmware.
