Hazard

The product presents a high risk of electric shock as under fault conditions, accessible metal parts can become live. If the user touches the live parts, they could receive an electric shock. The product also has counterfeit plug accreditation, and improvements are required to product marking and labelling. The product does not meet the requirements of the Supply of Machinery (Safety) Regulations 2008 or the Plugs & Sockets etc. (Safety) Regulations 1994.

Remedy

The import has been rejected at the border and destroyed.
