Hazard

The product presents a risk of fire as there is no evidence that it has been assessed using relevant UK conformity assessment procedures. A valid Declaration of Conformity was not supplied and there is no valid technical documentation. The machinery is not marked with required information and improvements are also required for the product instructions. In the absence of evidence to demonstrate the conformity of the product, it may be possible for it to overheat and catch fire. The product does not meet the requirements of the Supply of Machinery (Safety) Regulations 2008.

Remedy

The import has been rejected at the border and destroyed.
