Hazard

The product presents a high risk of burns as the instructions state that the thermostat cover can heat up during use. This could lead to the user receiving burns. In addition, the supplied Declaration of Conformity and test reports could not be linked to the product. There is a lack of labelling, marking and clear instructions. This product does not meet the requirements of the Supply of Machinery (Safety) Regulations 2008.

Remedy

The import has been rejected at the border and destroyed.
