Hazard

Affected bicycles present a risk of injuries as it is possible for the steering tube on the front fork of the bike to fracture. If this happened during use, it could result in the user losing control of the bicycle and receiving injuries. The affected products do not meet the requirements of the General Product Safety Regulations 2005.

Remedy

Modification programme. Consumers who own a 2022 Momentum Vida E+ Bicycle should check their frame number to determine whether their bicycle needs to be inspected and if necessary, have the fork replaced. To arrange an inspection, consumers are advised to contact the authorised Giant/Momentum retailer from which the bike was purchased.
