Hazard
The product presents a high risk of electric shock as the internal connections are not adequately soldered. Over time, these connections may loosen which could cause the product to become live. A consumer may inadvertently touch the product and receive an electric shock. The product transformer also does not meet the required creepage and clearance distances, presenting a fire risk. The product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016.
Remedy
The import has been rejected at the border.
