Hazard

The products present a serious chemical risk as they contain butylphenyl methylpropional (BMHCA/lilial), which is prohibited in cosmetic products. BMHCA may harm the reproductive system, may harm the health of the unborn child, and may cause skin sensitisation. The products do not meet the requirements of Regulation (EC) 1223/2009.

Remedy

Affected products have been recalled by Savers Health and Beauty. Customers should return any of the above products purchased at a Savers store to the place of purchase, where they will be issued a full refund. Only products purchased in Savers Health and Beauty stores with the barcodes listed are affected by this recall. Product description

Two fragrances sold by Savers Health and Beauty stores. Affected products have the chemical ‘butylphenyl methylpropional’ included on the ingredients label on the packaging of the product.
