Hazard

The product presents a high risk of fire as the plug does not meet the dimensional requirements of BS 1363 and therefore cannot make a secure connection with the socket. This may result in the appliance sparking, overheating and catching fire. This product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016 and the Plugs and Sockets etc. (Safety) Regulations 1994.

Remedy

The import has been rejected at the border and destroyed. The listing has been removed by the online marketplace (Amazon).
