Hazard

The product presents a high risk of electric shock as the transformer primary and secondary windings are touching and therefore do not meet minimum creepage and clearance distances. This could lead to the product becoming live and shocking the user. Improvements are also required to the product markings and documentation. This product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016.

Remedy

The import has been rejected at the border and destroyed. The listing has been removed by the online marketplace (Amazon).
