Hazard

The product presents a risk of fire as there is a faulty button on the recliner mechanism. This means there is a risk of the circuit board overheating and malfunctioning, causing the recliner to stop working. This product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016.

Remedy

Only products with the product codes and sales period as listed above are subject to the modification programme, and affected consumers have been contacted by John Lewis. They have advised that consumers unplug the product, stop using the recline/charging functions and contact the John Lewis & Partners Aftersales Team to arrange a visit and repair via 03456 049 049.
