Hazard

The product presents a serious risk of fire as the mains supply cord has excessive resistance. This could lead to the cable overheating and catching on fire if used for extended periods. Improvements are also required to product labelling and marking. The product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016.

Remedy

The import has been rejected at the border. The listing has been removed by the online marketplace (Amazon).
