Hazard

The product presents a risk of fire as the lithium-ion batteries can overheat whilst in use. This can lead to localised smoking, melting and/or a risk of fire. The product does not meet the requirements of the General Product Safety Regulations 2005.

Remedy

The product has been recalled from end users. Consumers should stop using the product immediately and complete the recall form on the Belkin website to receive a full refund or replacement. Products purchased via TK Maxx can be returned to any TK Maxx store for a full refund or replacement. For further information on the TK Maxx recall, please visit this link. If disposing of the product, consumers should ensure this is done safely via their local household waste disposal site. Consumers should check first with their local centre if they accept this type of battery.
