Hazard

The product presents a serious chemical risk as it was found to have a concentration level of 11.5% Carbon Black (nano) colour pigment, which exceeds the maximum permitted concentration in cosmetic products (10%). The product does not meet the requirements of Regulation (EC) 1223/2009 (‘The Cosmetics Regulation’).

Remedy

The product has been recalled from end users. We recommend owners stop using the product immediately and access markwins.eu/news for further information. Owners are advised to return the product to the point of sale for a full refund.

Black felt tip-style eyeliner in black packaging. Affected products were sold since August 2022.
