Hazard

The product presents a high risk of fire because internal electrical connections are inadequately secured, with wires soldered directly to the PCB without effective strain relief. The connections may loosen during normal use, leading to arcing and overheating, which could ignite surrounding materials and cause a fire. The plug was also marked with an approval number that could not be verified, raising concerns regarding compliance with BS 1363. The product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016 or the Plugs & Sockets etc (Safety) Regulations 1994.
