Hazard

The product presents a high risk of fire because the plug pins do not meet the dimensional requirements of BS 1363. As a result, the plug may not fit securely into a socket, leading to overheating and fire. The product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016 or the Plugs and Sockets (Safety) Regulations 1994.

Remedy

The import has been rejected at the border and destroyed.
