Hazard

The product presents a serious risk of injuries as it was not supplied with a stabilizer bar. It is not clear to the user that a locking mechanism is required for the product and so if the user were to use the ladder extended to full length, it may become unstable, causing the user to fall and receive injuries. The product does not meet the requirements of the General Product Safety Regulations 2005.

Remedy

The import has been rejected at the border and destroyed. The listing has been removed by the online marketplace (Amazon)
